Katie Lloyd

Miss Katie teaches Ballet, Tap and Modern. She trained at The Centre Performing Arts College in London where she qualified as a teacher of Ballet, Tap and Modern with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. She has performed in the West End, pantomimes and in various plays, shows and galas. She now shares her expertise across the South teaching the ISTD syllabus as a specialist guest teacher for various dance schools. Miss Katie is a former Centre Co-Ordinator for the prestigious Royal Ballet School’s Junior Associate Scheme. She is mummy to gorgeous Walter and her passion is helping other dancer school owners to realise their dreams!

Emma Williams

Miss Emma teaches Jazz, Street and Musical Theatre at Shine Studios. She holds an Associate and a Licenciate with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing and is a VIDLA qualified vocal coach. Miss Emma has appeared in US television series The Royals, film The World’s End, BBC TV drama Thirteen and film Final Score with Pierce Brosnan and Dave Bautista. Professionally she has danced on contracts for artists including Jessie J and Robin Thicke. She greatly enjoys adjudicating dance competitions and scholarships across the country as well as teaching in a local secondary school. Miss Emma is mummy to wonderful Lucas, a prolific pet owner and avid singer!

Harriet Da Costa

Having studied all of our dance genres at Shine from a young age we are delighted to have Miss Harriet on our teaching team. Miss Harriet teaches Ballet, Tap and Modern as well as pre-school Ballet. As a keen dancer she is enthused to share her love of dance particularly with our younger dancers who adore her. She possesses a DDE with the ISTD in Tap and Modern and is an incredible baker running her own company, Dimples Cakes, and is a passionate supporter of Diabetes awareness.

Tanisha Groome

Miss Tanisha is a very talented dancer and teacher having completed a BA Honours degree in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. She has a keen interest in making dance accessible for all, holding Level 1 British Sign Language and has worked with Next Step Dance Company and Candoco in order to gain experience within the disability dance world. Miss Tanisha teaches on behalf of Shine Studios as a cover teacher and is also qualified with the NATD. She runs her own beauty and aesthetics company and is a regular donator to our Shine Studios Foundation Fund.

Casey Tona

Miss Casey is a highly versatile dancer and teacher who trained at the Urdang Academy. As a qualified personal trainer running her own successful business, Miss Casey is also a great asset in assisting our dancers with general fitness and healthy living. As a familiar face to Shine Studios, Miss Casey undertakes Shine’s cover teaching ensuring continuity of high quality teaching in the absence of regular staff as well as heading up our Adult Dance.
